Brad Christie, SGI Founder & Principal

Brad is a senior government affairs and public affairs strategist with more than a decade of experience helping organizations navigate complex regulatory environments, political dynamics, and high‑stakes issues. He founded SGI Strategies to provide executives with the kind of strategic counsel, intelligence, and hands‑on support that is often missing in traditional lobbying or communications firms.
Before launching SGI, Brad led global government affairs for Sysco Corporation, the global leader in foodservice distribution. In that role, he managed federal, multi‑state, and international advocacy, regulatory strategy, stakeholder engagement, and issue campaigns. He built coalitions, shaped legislation, and advised senior leadership on policy risk, market access, and reputational considerations.
Prior to joining Sysco, Brad was a policy advisor to US Congressman Sam Graves, where he held senior advisory roles on armed services, agriculture, finance, tax, trade, and transportation.  
Brad’s career spans government relations, strategic communications, and executive advisory work. He has worked closely with policymakers, regulators, industry associations, and corporate leaders to align public affairs strategy with business priorities.
